Starting an Alarm

Starting an alarm is a quick, effective way of letting others know that you need help, or that there’s a problem near you. To start an alarm, simply press the red alarm button on the home screen of your mobile application. This will open the alarm screen.

Choose what kind of alarm you'd like to start by tapping the alarm type drop down menu.

Options are: personal distress, serious injury, crime in progress, environmental emergency, vehicular accident, chemical spill, critical failure, or fire or explosion.

The alarm will automatically default to ‘personal distress’ and start after 30 seconds. To skip the countdown and start the alarm immediately, tap the large red button at the bottom of your screen. To cancel the alarm, tap 'cancel' at the top of your screen.
